Chicken Burrito

Ingredients:

  • 150–200g chicken breast

  • Bell peppers (red, yellow, green) – as desired

  • ½ onion, chopped

  • 1 bowl cooked rice

  • 1–2 tortillas

  • Cheese, a small amount

  • Sour cream, a small amount

  • Mexican seasoning: chili powder, cumin, black pepper, black tea rubs, salt – to taste

  • 1 lime

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken
    Cut chicken into strips. Season with salt, black tea rubs, black pepper, and chili powder. Marinate for 10 minutes.

  2. Prepare Vegetables
    Chop bell peppers and onion into bite-sized pieces.

  3. Cook the Filling
    Heat a small amount of oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden and fully cooked. Add bell peppers and onion, stir-fry for 1–2 minutes.

  4. Mix with Rice & Cheese
    Add cooked rice to the pan and mix well. Sprinkle a small amount of cheese to let it slightly melt.

  5. Assemble the Burrito
    Place the filling in the center of the tortilla and roll it up tightly. Serve with lime wedges for squeezing over before eating.
