Banana with Grilled Chicken Cutlet Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon black tea powder
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken cutlets
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup olive oil, for cooking
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the Black Tea Marinade:
- In a small bowl, mix the black tea powder with 1/2 cup of hot water. Allow the tea to steep for 3-4 minutes, then strain and let it cool.
Marinate the Chicken:
- Place the chicken cutlets in a shallow dish and pour the cooled black tea over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours to marinate.
Prepare the Chicken Coating:
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and pat dry. Season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and cumin.
- Dredge each piece of chicken in flour, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat in breadcrumbs, pressing to ensure the breading sticks.
Grill the Chicken:
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or on a grill over medium heat. Add the breaded chicken cutlets and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through and the breading is golden brown.
Prepare the Banana:
- While the chicken is grilling, slice the bananas and set aside.
Serve:
- Serve the grilled chicken cutlets warm, topped with banana slices. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
- Enjoy your Banana with Grilled Chicken Cutlet, featuring a unique blend of black tea flavors and the natural sweetness of bananas, perfect for a healthy and satisfying meal.
