Creamy Mushroom Soup Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon green tea rubs (a mixture of green tea leaves, sugar, and spices)
- 4 cups sliced fresh mushrooms (such as cremini, shiitake, or a mix)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 cups vegetable or chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup dry white wine (optional)
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
- Optional: 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions:
Prepare the Green Tea Rubs:
- Combine the green tea leaves, sugar, and spices in a small bowl to create the green tea rubs. This mixture will be used to add a unique flavor to the soup.
Cook the Mushrooms:
- In a large pot or Dutch oven, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and start to brown, about 5-7 minutes.
