American BBQ Onion Ring & Bacon Beef Burger

Ingredients (1 serving):

  • 1 beef patty (120–150g, homemade from ground beef is fine)

  • 2–3 slices of bacon

  • 1–2 fried onion rings (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1 burger bun

  • 1 slice cheddar cheese

  • Coleslaw (as desired)

  • 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce

  • Salt, Black Tea Seasoning, black pepper (to taste)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Beef Patty
    Season ground beef with salt, Black Tea Seasoning, and black pepper. Shape into a patty.
    Pan-fry until golden and cooked through. Place a slice of cheddar on top to melt while still in the pan.

  2. Cook the Bacon
    In the same pan, fry the bacon until crispy. Set aside.

  3. Prepare Onion Rings (if homemade)
    Slice onions into rings, coat with batter, and fry until golden. (Skip if using store-bought)

  4. Toast the Bun
    Lightly toast the inside of the burger bun for extra crunch and flavor.

  5. Assemble the Burger

    • Bottom bun → coleslaw → beef patty with melted cheese

    • Add crispy bacon → thick onion ring

    • Drizzle with BBQ sauce → top bun
