Herb Grilled Chicken Breast with Green Tea Rub

Ingredients:

  • 1 chicken breast

  • 1–2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Rosemary (fresh or dried)

  • Thyme

  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic (or garlic powder)

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

  • Green tea rub 

Instructions:

  1. Season the Chicken
    Lightly pound the chicken breast to even thickness. Rub it all over with olive oil, then season with salt, black pepper, garlic, rosemary, thyme, and green tea rub. Marinate for 10–20 minutes.

  2. Pan-Sear
    Heat a skillet over medium heat with a little olive oil. Cook the chicken breast for 3–4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.

  3. Cover & Simmer for Juiciness
    Once both sides are nicely seared, cover the pan and reduce the heat to low for 2 more minutes. This helps the chicken stay juicy.

  4. Serve
    Plate the chicken, sprinkle with a few extra herbs if desired, and drizzle a little extra olive oil on top before serving.
