Ingredients:
  • 5g green tea rubs (a mixture of green tea leaves, sugar, and spices)
  • 12 oz (340g) pasta of your choice (such as spaghetti, fettuccine, or penne)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup white wine (optional)
  • 1/4 cup curry powder
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro, for garnish
  • Optional: 1/4 cup toasted pine nuts or almonds, for garnish
Instructions:
  1. Prepare the Green Tea Rubs:
    • Combine the green tea leaves, sugar, and spices in a small bowl to create the green tea rubs. This mixture will be used to add a unique flavor to the pasta.
  2. Cook the Pasta:
    • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta, reserving about 1/2 cup of the pasta water.
  3. Sauté the Aromatics:
    • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute, or until fragrant.
  4. Simmer the Sauce:
