Cheese Sambousek

Ingredients

  • Flour: 250 grams

  • Salt: 1/2 teaspoon

  • Warm water: 125 milliliters

  • Butter (melted): 30 grams

  • Mozzarella cheese: 200 grams (chopped)

  • Feta cheese: 100 grams (chopped)

  • An egg (beaten, used for sealing)

  • An appropriate amount of vegetable oil (for frying)

  • Tea rubs: 3- 5g

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, mix flour and salt.

2. Slowly add warm water, stirring at the same time, to form a dough.

3. Pour in melted butter and knead the dough until smooth and elastic, then cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.

4. Chop mozzarella and feta cheese, mix well and set aside.

5. Divide the rested dough into small pieces and roll into thin slices.

6. Place appropriate amount of mixed cheese in the middle of the slice.

7. Pinch the edges of the dough together to form a triangle and seal with beaten egg.

8. Heat appropriate amount of vegetable oil in a pan. When the oil temperature reaches 180°C, carefully add the wrapped cheese triangles.

9. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side, remove from the oil and drain.
