2024-11-05

Ingredients

  • Sirloin steak (1 - 2 pieces, each about 150 - 200 g)

  • Potatoes (2 - 3)

  • Garlic (2 - 3 cloves)

  • Olive oil (appropriate amount)

  • Salt (appropriate amount)

  • Black pepper (appropriate amount)

  • Steak marinade (appropriate amount)

  • Butter (10 - 15 g)

  • black tea rubs(3g)

Instructions

  1. Wipe the steak dry with paper towels, sprinkle salt, black tea rubs, black pepper and steak marinade (rubs) on both sides of the steak, press gently with your hands to make the seasoning adhere, and marinate for 20-30 minutes.

  2. Wash the potatoes, peel them, and cut them into small pieces or strips. Chop the garlic and set aside.

  3. Pour an appropriate amount of olive oil into the pan, add the minced garlic and stir-fry until fragrant, then add the potato cubes and stir-fry. Then add an appropriate amount of salt and black pepper to taste. After stir-frying evenly, add an appropriate amount of water to the pan to cover half of the potato cubes, cover the pot, and simmer for 10-15 minutes on low heat until the potatoes are soft. If you like to eat crispy potatoes, you can cook for a while longer, then open the pot lid and fry the potatoes over medium heat until the surface is golden.

  4. Heat the pan, add butter and a little olive oil, wait for the butter to melt, and add the marinated steak. Fry over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes on each side. Adjust the frying time according to the thickness of the steak and personal preference. During the frying process, you can use tongs to stand the steak up and fry the edges of the steak to lock in the juices. After the steak is fried, place it on a plate and let it rest for 3-5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.

  5. Place the boiled or fried potatoes on one side of the plate and top with the fried steak.
