Spinach pasta with cheese and meat sauce

Ingredients

  • Pasta (200 g)
  • Beef (150 - 200 g,)
  • Spinach (1 small bunch, wash and cut into sections for later use)
  • Onion (0.5)
  • Garlic (3 - 4 cloves, mince)
  • Cheese (50 - 100 g)
  • Olive oil (appropriate amount)
  • Butter (15 - 20 g)
  • Tomato sauce (3 - 4 big spoons)
  • Salt (appropriate amount)
  • Black pepper (appropriate amount)
  • Milk (100 - 150 ml)
  • Starch (1 - 2 small spoons)
  • Black tea seasoning(3g)

Instructions

  1. Add enough water to the pot, bring to a boil, add a teaspoon of salt and a few drops of olive oil.

  2. Add the pasta and cook until it is 70% done according to the time recommended on the package, usually about 8-12 minutes. When cooked, remove from the pan, drain the water, stir with a little olive oil to prevent sticking, and set aside.

  3. Heat the pan, pour in a proper amount of olive oil, add the ground beef, stir with a spatula until it changes color, stir the ground beef, and fry out the excess fat.

  4. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, continue to stir until the onion is soft and fragrant.

  5. Pour in the tomato sauce and stir well to coat the ground beef.

  6. In another pan, melt the butter over low heat, add the proper amount of flour, stir well, and stir into a light yellow batter (this step is to make a simple roux, as the basis of the cheese sauce).

  7. Slowly pour in the milk, stirring as you pour, until the batter and milk are fully mixed, there are no particles, and a thick sauce is formed.

  8. Add cheese and continue to stir until the cheese is completely melted and the sauce becomes thick and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper according to personal taste.

  9. Pour the fried meat sauce into the cheese sauce and stir well. Then add the spinach segments and stir fry a few times to soften the spinach slightly.

  10. Add the cooked pasta to the pot and mix it thoroughly with the meat sauce and cheese sauce so that each piece of pasta is coated with the rich sauce. If the sauce is too thick, you can adjust it by adding some cooking water.

  11. Serve the prepared spinach cheese meat sauce pasta and sprinkle some additional cheese, black tea seasoning and black pepper as decoration according to personal preference after serving.
