Orange-Glazed Roasted Salmon

(Bright, citrusy, and smoky with a touch of green tea depth)
Ingredients (serves 2-3):
-
9g Tea&Grill BBQ green tea seasoning (adds subtle smokiness)
-
500g fresh salmon fillet (skin-on)
-
1/2 cup fresh orange juice (no pulp)
-
2 tbsp orange zest
-
1 tbsp honey
-
1 tbsp soy sauce
-
1 clove garlic, minced
-
1 tsp grated ginger
-
1 tbsp olive oil
-
Salt & freshly ground black pepper
-
Garnish: Fresh dill + orange slices
Method:
-
Prepare the Glaze:-
Whisk orange juice, zest, honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and green tea seasoning in a bowl.

-
-
Marinate the Salmon:-
Pat salmon dry. Brush with olive oil, season with salt & pepper.
-
Place in a shallow dish and pour half the glaze over the salmon. Marinate 15-20 minutes.

-
-
Roast to Perfection:-
Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking tray with foil.
-
Roast salmon skin-side down for 12-15 minutes (until internal temp reaches 50°C/120°F for medium-rare).
-
Brush remaining glaze over salmon during the last 3 minutes of cooking.

-
-
Finish & Serve:-
Rest salmon 2 minutes. Garnish with fresh dill and orange slices.
-
Pair with steamed asparagus or a citrus salad.

-
Chef’s Notes:
-
The green tea seasoning enhances the citrus glaze’s brightness without overpowering the delicate salmon.
-
For extra char, broil for the final 1-2 minutes.
-
Leftovers? Flake into salads or toss with cold noodles for a refreshing meal.
A vibrant, healthy dish that’s perfect for weeknights or entertaining. Enjoy the burst of citrus and smoky depth in every bite!
