Cumin-Crusted Crispy Roasted Pork Chops Recipe
Ingredients:
-
9g Tea&Grill BBQ green tea seasoning
-
4 pork chops (about 200g each), trimmed and patted dry
-
1/4 cup olive oil
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
-
1/4 cup chopped fresh rosemary
-
1/4 cup chopped green onions
-
1/4 cup cumin seeds, toasted and ground
-
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
-
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
-
1/4 cup thinly sliced red chili peppers, for garnish (optional)
-
1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions, for garnish
Instructions:
Prepare the Pork Chops:
-
Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped rosemary, and chopped green onions. Mix well.
-
Rub the olive oil all over the pork chops, then rub the herb mixture onto the chops, ensuring they are evenly coated. Season the pork chops generously with salt, black pepper, and 5g of the Tea&Grill BBQ green tea seasoning. Sprinkle the ground cumin seeds over the chops, pressing gently to adhere. Let the pork chops rest at room temperature for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate.
Preheat the Oven:
-
Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F).
Roast the Pork Chops:
-
Place the seasoned pork chops on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Roast in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 68°C (155°F) for medium. The pork chops should have a crispy, golden-brown crust.
Finish and Serve:
-
Remove the pork chops from the oven and let them rest for 5-10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute, making the meat more tender and flavorful.
-
Transfer the roasted pork chops to a serving plate. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, thinly sliced red chili peppers (if using), and thinly sliced green onions.
-
Serve immediately, enjoying the tender, flavorful pork chops with the aromatic cumin crust and the unique flavor of green tea seasoning.
