Tomato and Basil Linguine Recipe

Ingredients:
  • 9g Tea&Grill BBQ green tea seasoning
  • 200g linguine pasta
  • 4 large ripe tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced red chili peppers, for garnish (optional)
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions, for garnish
Instructions:
Cook the Pasta:
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the linguine pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Tomato Sauce:
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until it is translucent and slightly golden, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes to the skillet and cook until they are soft and slightly caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Stir in the chopped basil and green onions. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Combine and Serve:
  • Add the cooked linguine to the skillet with the tomato sauce. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated with the sauce.
