Creamy Boston Lobster Recipe
Ingredients:
-
9g Tea&Grill BBQ green tea seasoning
-
1 whole Boston lobster (about 1kg), cleaned and split in half lengthwise
-
1/4 cup olive oil
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
-
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
-
1/4 cup chopped green onions
-
1/4 cup white wine (optional, substitute with chicken broth if needed)
-
1/4 cup heavy cream
-
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
-
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil, for garnish
-
1/4 cup thinly sliced red chili peppers, for garnish (optional)
-
1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions, for garnish
Instructions:
Prepare the Lobster:
-
Pat the lobster pieces dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped parsley, and chopped green onions. Mix well.
-
Rub the olive oil all over the lobster, then rub the herb mixture onto the lobster, ensuring it is evenly coated. Season the lobster generously with salt, black pepper, and 5g of the Tea&Grill BBQ green tea seasoning. Let the lobster rest at room temperature for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate.
Roast the Lobster:
-
Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F). Place the seasoned lobster halves on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Roast in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the lobster is cooked through and the shell is bright red.
Prepare the Creamy Sauce:
-
In a small saucepan, combine the white wine (or chicken broth) and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Let the sauce simmer for about 5-7 minutes, or until it thickens slightly.
Finish and Serve:
-
Transfer the roasted lobster to a serving plate. Drizzle the creamy sauce over the lobster. Garnish with chopped fresh basil, thinly sliced red chili peppers (if using), and thinly sliced green onions.
-
Serve immediately, enjoying the tender lobster meat with the rich, creamy sauce and the unique flavor of green tea seasoning.
Enjoy your delicious Creamy Boston Lobster!
Note: The lobster can also be boiled or steamed before roasting for added tenderness
