Ingredients:

300g chicken breast, cut into strips

1 egg

50g flour

80g breadcrumbs

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 lemon, halved

Cooking oil (for frying)
Instructions:

Marinate the chicken: Season the chicken strips with salt and black pepper. Let sit for 10 minutes.

Coat the chicken: Dredge the strips first in flour, then dip in beaten egg, and finally coat evenly with breadcrumbs.

Fry: Heat enough oil in a pan to 170°C (340°F). Test by dipping a chopstick — bubbles should form around it. Fry the chicken strips for 3-4 minutes until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.

Serve: Plate the chicken strips with lemon halves. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the chicken before eating.
