- Salt (appropriate amount)
- Black pepper (appropriate amount)
- Steak seasonings (can buy ready-made, or make by yourself: such as a mixture of garlic powder, onion powder, rosemary, thyme, etc. to make rubs, appropriate amount)
- Light soy sauce (1 - 2 tablespoons)
- Cooking wine (1 tablespoon)
- Honey (optional, 1 tablespoon)
- Black tea seasoning(3g)
Instructions
-
Remove the steak from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for 20-30 minutes to reach room temperature. This will allow the steak to heat more evenly during the grilling process.
-
Use kitchen paper to wipe off the moisture on the surface of the steak, then evenly apply olive oil on both sides of the steak, and then sprinkle with appropriate amounts of salt, black pepper and steak seasoning (rubs), gently massage the steak to allow the seasoning to fully penetrate the meat.
-
Place the marinated steak in a sealed bag or container, add light soy sauce, cooking wine and honey (if using), stir well, and then place the steak in the refrigerator to marinate for 1-2 hours.
-
Wash various vegetables, cut broccoli into small florets, peel and slice carrots, cut onions into cubes, cut mushrooms into slices, and cut bell peppers into strips or cubes.
-
Put the processed vegetables in a large bowl, add appropriate amounts of olive oil, salt and black pepper, and stir well to coat the surface of the vegetables with a layer of oil and seasoning.
-
Preheat the oven to 200°C and place the baking sheet in the oven to preheat at the same time.
-
Take the marinated steak out of the refrigerator, place it on the preheated baking tray, and bake it in the middle layer of the oven. The baking time depends on the thickness of the steak and the degree of doneness you prefer. Generally speaking, it takes about 5 to 8 minutes per side to achieve medium doneness. During the baking process, you can turn the steak over once, and brush the juices on the baking tray on the surface of the steak with a brush every once in a while to make it more flavorful.
-
In the last 5 to 10 minutes of baking the steak, you can place the prepared vegetables on the edge of the baking tray and bake them together. The baking time of vegetables is relatively short, just bake until the surface changes color slightly and becomes soft. You can turn the vegetables appropriately during the period to ensure even baking.
-
Remove the grilled steak from the oven and place it on a plate to rest for 3 to 5 minutes to allow the gravy to redistribute. Then place the grilled vegetables around the steak. You can sprinkle some black pepper, Black tea seasoning or steak seasoning (rubs) on the steak as a decoration according to your personal preference to add flavor. Finally, you can enjoy this delicious grilled steak with vegetables.
