French-Style Green Pepper Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients:
-
9g Tea&Grill BBQ green tea seasoning
-
200g large shrimp, peeled and deveined
-
2 green peppers, sliced into strips
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
-
1/4 cup olive oil
-
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
-
1/4 cup chopped green onions
-
1/4 cup white wine (optional, substitute with chicken broth if needed)
-
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
-
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil, for garnish
Instructions:
Prepare the Shrimp:
-
Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped parsley, and chopped green onions. Mix well.
-
Rub the olive oil all over the shrimp, then rub the herb mixture onto the shrimp, ensuring they are evenly coated. Season the shrimp generously with salt, black pepper, and 5g of the Tea&Grill BBQ green tea seasoning. Let the shrimp rest at room temperature for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate.
Cook the Shrimp:
-
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
Cook the Green Peppers:
-
In the same skillet, add a little more olive oil if needed. Add the sliced green peppers and sauté over medium heat until they are soft and slightly caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
Combine and Serve:
-
Return the shrimp to the skillet with the green peppers. Add the white wine (or chicken broth) to the skillet and stir well to combine. Let the mixture simmer for about 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
-
Transfer the shrimp and green peppers to a serving plate. Garnish with chopped fresh basil and a sprinkle of additional parsley.
-
Serve immediately, enjoying the tender shrimp and flavorful green peppers with the unique flavor of green tea seasoning.
