Turkish Roast Lamb Platter

Ingredients

  • Lamb: 500 grams (cut into thin slices or small pieces)

  • Pita bread: 2 - 3 pieces

  • Rice: 1 - 2 cups (cooked)

  • French fries: 1 - 2 cups (you can choose homemade or purchased ones)

  • Tomatoes: 2 - 3 (you can choose roasted tomatoes to enhance the flavor)

  • Green peppers: 1 - 2 (you can choose roasted green peppers)

  • Spices (such as cumin powder, chili powder, salt, black pepper powder): an appropriate amount

  • Olive oil: 2 - 3 tablespoons

  • Yogurt sauce (optional, made by mixing yogurt, minced garlic, salt, and minced cucumber): an appropriate amount

  • Tea seasoning: 3- 5g

Instructions

1. Cut the lamb into thin slices or small pieces and place in a bowl.

2. Add appropriate amount of cumin powder, chili powder, salt, tea rubs, black pepper, drizzle with olive oil, mix well and marinate for 30 minutes - 1 hour.

3. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).

4. Spread the marinated lamb evenly on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 15 - 20 minutes, until the lamb is cooked through and the surface is slightly charred.

5. If you choose to roast tomatoes and green peppers, put the tomatoes and green peppers in the oven and roast them together with the lamb until the skin is slightly charred.

6. Prepare the cooked rice and French fries.

7. Place pita bread on the bottom of the plate.

8. Place the roasted lamb on the pita bread and place the cooked rice, French fries, roasted tomatoes and green peppers on the side.

9. If there is yogurt sauce, you can put a small bowl on the side for dipping.
