500g (1 lb) ground lamb or beef
1 small sized onion, grated
2 cloves garlic, minced
cumin-5g
smoked paprika-5g
Cinnamon-5g
black pepper-2.5g
Salt-2.5g
Fresh parsley-15g, chopped
Fresh mint-15g, chopped
For Serving:
Warm flatbreads or pita
Yogurt sauce (yogurt, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt)
Chopped fresh vegetables (e.g., tomatoes, onions, cucumbers)
Fresh herbs (parsley, cilantro, or mint)
Instructions:
Prepare the Kebab Mixture:
In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, grated onion, garlic, black tea seasoning, cumin, smoked paprika, cinnamon, black pepper, salt, parsley, and mint.
Shape the Kebabs:
Divide the meat mixture into equal portions and shape them into elongated kebabs or patties. You can thread them onto skewers if desired.
Cook the Kebabs:
Grill the kebabs over medium heat, turning occasionally, until cooked through (about 8-10 minutes). Alternatively, you can cook them in a grill pan or bake them in the oven at 200°C (400°F) for 15-20 minutes.
Prepare the Accompaniments:
While the kebabs cook, warm the flatbreads and prepare the yogurt sauce and chopped vegetables.
