  • Onion: 1 (medium-sized, chopped)

  • Garlic: 3 - 4 cloves (chopped)

  • Bread crumbs: 1/2 cup

  • Egg: 1

  • Fresh coriander (cilantro): 1/4 cup (chopped)

  • Fresh mint: 1/4 cup (chopped)

  • Cumin powder: 1 - 2 teaspoons

  • Coriander powder: 1 - 2 teaspoons

  • Salt: 1 - 1.5 teaspoons

  • Black pepper powder: 1/2 - 1 teaspoon

  • Olive oil: 2 - 3 tablespoons (for frying)

  • Cucumber: 1 (sliced)

  • Tomatoes: 2 (sliced)

  • Onion: 1/2 (sliced)

  • Hummus: an appropriate amount

  • Tea seasoning: 3- 5g

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine the minced meat, chopped onion, garlic, bread crumbs, egg, chopped cilantro, chopped mint, cumin, coriander, tea dry rubs, salt, and black pepper.

2. Mix well with your hands until everything is well combined.

3. Divide the minced meat into equal portions and shape into oval or round kuftas (meatballs).

4. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

5. Add the kuftas to the pan and fry until golden brown on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Make sure the inside of the kuftas is cooked through.

6. Slice the cucumber, tomato, and onion and place on a plate.

7. If desired, prepare some hummus on the bottom of the plate.

8. Serve the fried kuftas on a side dish (if you have one) and serve.
