Instructions
-
Remove the steak from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to reach room temperature. This will allow the steak to heat more evenly during the frying process.
-
Use kitchen paper to absorb the moisture on the surface of the steak, then evenly apply olive oil on both sides of the steak, and then sprinkle with appropriate amounts of salt, black pepper and steak seasoning (rubs), and gently massage the steak to allow the seasoning to fully penetrate the meat.
-
Put the marinated steak in a sealed bag or container, add light soy sauce and cooking wine, stir well, and then put the steak in the refrigerator to marinate for 1-2 hours.
-
In a small bowl, stir lemon juice, olive oil, vinegar, honey (if using), mustard sauce (if using), appropriate amounts of salt and black pepper until mixed into a uniform salad dressing. You can adjust the amount of various seasonings according to your personal taste. If you like sour, you can add more lemon juice and vinegar, and if you like sweet, you can add more honey.
-
Wash various vegetables, tear the lettuce into small pieces, slice cucumbers, cut tomatoes into small pieces, shred carrots, and shred purple cabbage. Place the chopped vegetables in a large bowl.
-
If using eggs, boil them, peel them, cut them into small pieces, and place them in the vegetable bowl.
-
Pour the prepared salad dressing into the vegetable bowl and mix well to coat the vegetables.
-
Heat a pan and add an appropriate amount of olive oil. When the oil is hot, add the marinated steak. Fry one side of the steak over high heat for 1-2 minutes until the surface forms a beautiful brown color, then turn it over and continue to fry the other side over medium heat. The frying time depends on your personal preference for the doneness of the steak. Generally, frying for 3-5 minutes can achieve medium doneness. During the frying process, you can use a spoon to pour the oil from the pan on the surface of the steak from time to time to make it heat more evenly.
-
Remove the fried steak and place it on a plate to rest for 5-10 minutes to allow the gravy to redistribute. This step will make the steak more tender and juicy.
-
Cut the rested steak into appropriate thickness and place it on a plate. Place the prepared vegetable salad next to the steak. You can sprinkle some black pepper, black tea seasoning or steak seasoning (rubs) on the steak as a decoration to add flavor according to your personal preference. Finally, you can enjoy this delicious steak with salad dressing.
