Barbecued Pork

Ingredients: 

 

  • 500g lean pork
  • best brisket rub
  • an appropriate amount of shredded onions
  • 2 star anises
  • several slices of ginger
  • 1 tablespoon of light soy sauce
  • tea powder seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon of dark soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
  • bbq spices
  • 2 tablespoons of cooking wine
  • 2 tablespoons of barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of starch
  • a little salt
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • an appropriate amount of cumin powder
  • an appropriate amount of chili powder

 

Steps:

 

  • 1. Cut the pork into large thick slices, add all the seasonings except cumin powder and chili powder, stir evenly, and marinate for more than half an hour.
  • 2. Line a baking tray with aluminum foil and brush with a layer of oil to prevent the pork from sticking to the tray.
  • 3. Place the pork and onions on the baking tray, and discard the star anises and ginger slices.
  • 4. Preheat the oven to 180°C, put the baking tray in the oven, and bake for about 10 minutes.
  • 5. Take out the baking tray, pour out the soup, and sprinkle with cumin powder and chili powder.
  • 6. Bake for another 5 minutes.

  • 1. The marinating time of the pork should not be too long, otherwise it will affect the taste.
  • 2. Pay attention to observation during the baking process to avoid burning.
