Ingredients:

  • 1 boneless, skinless chicken breast

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • Dried or fresh herbs (e.g., rosemary, thyme, oregano) – to taste

  • Salt, black tea powder, black pepper – to taste

  • A squeeze of lemon juice (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Tenderize the chicken breast lightly and pat it dry with kitchen paper.

  2. Marinate with olive oil, minced garlic, herbs, black tea powder, salt, and black pepper. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes (refrigeration recommended for deeper flavor).

  3. Heat a non-stick or cast iron skillet with a drizzle of olive oil.

  4. Sear the chicken over medium heat for 4–5 minutes per side, until golden brown and fully cooked through (cut to check doneness if needed).

  5. Optional: Finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice before serving. Great when paired with roasted vegetables or salad!
