Grilled Lamb Chops
Ingredients
-
Lamb chops: 4 - 6 pieces
-
Olive oil: 30 - 40 ml
-
Salt: 8 - 10 g
-
Black pepper: 4 - 5 g
-
Garlic: 4 - 5 cloves (about 15 - 20 g, minced)
-
Rosemary: 2 - 3 sprigs (either fresh or dried rosemary can be used)
-
Thyme: 2 - 3 sprigs (either fresh or dried thyme can be used)
-
Honey: 20 - 30 ml (for basting)
-
Vegetables (such as broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, corn, etc.): an appropriate amount
-
Light soy sauce or soy sauce: 10 - 15 ml
Instructions
-
Wash the lamb chops and pat dry with paper towels. Score the surface of the lamb chops a few times to make it easier to season.
-
Mix olive oil, salt, black pepper, minced garlic, rosemary, Black tea powder barbecue seasoning, thyme and soy sauce in a bowl and mix well.
-
Place the lamb chops in the marinade, making sure all sides of the lamb chops are evenly coated with the marinade. You can put the lamb chops and marinade in a fresh-keeping bag, seal it, and marinate in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours, or marinate overnight for better flavor.
-
Wash various vegetables and cut them into appropriate size pieces. Drizzle some olive oil on the vegetable pieces, sprinkle with salt, Black tea powder barbecue seasoning and black pepper, and mix well.
-
Preheat the oven to 200-220°C.
-
Line a baking sheet with tin foil and brush a thin layer of oil on the tin foil.
-
Place the marinated lamb chops on the baking sheet and place the vegetable pieces around the lamb chops.
-
Bake for 20-30 minutes, then take out the lamb chops, brush a layer of honey on the surface of the lamb chops, and continue to bake for 10-15 minutes. During the baking process, pay attention to the color of the lamb chops. When the surface of the lamb chops is attractively golden and the inside is cooked (you can use a thermometer to insert the thickest part of the lamb chops, and the temperature reaches 55-60°C, it is cooked), take it out and set aside. At the same time, the vegetables should also be baked until the surface is golden and cooked.
-
Put the roasted lamb chops in the center of the plate and place the roasted vegetables around them. You can pour the gravy in the baking pan on the lamb chops and vegetables and enjoy it.
Tips
-
The longer the lamb chops are marinated, the richer the flavor.
-
The baking time and temperature can be adjusted appropriately according to the temperament of your own oven. If you like to eat a more crispy crust, you can extend the baking time or increase the temperature appropriately, but be careful to prevent burning.
-
Brushing honey on the surface of the lamb chops can not only increase the sweetness, but also make the surface of the lamb chops bake with a beautiful color.
