Roast Pork
Ingredients
-
Pork tenderloin (1 piece, about 1.2 - 1.5 kg)
-
Olive oil (30 - 40 ml)
-
Salt (8 - 10 g)
-
Black pepper (4 - 5 g)
-
Garlic (4 - 5 cloves, about 15 - 20 g, minced)
-
Rosemary (2 - 3 branches, either fresh or dried rosemary can be used)
-
Onion (1, about 150 - 200 g, chopped)
-
Honey (20 - 30 ml, for basting)
Instructions
-
Wash the pork tenderloin and pat dry with paper towels. Score the surface of the pork tenderloin a few times to make it easier to season.
-
In a bowl, mix olive oil, salt, black tea powder barbecue seasoning, black pepper, minced garlic, rosemary and chopped onion and mix well.
-
Place the pork tenderloin in the marinade, making sure all sides of the pork tenderloin are evenly coated with the marinade. You can put the pork tenderloin and marinade in a plastic bag, seal it, and marinate in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours, or overnight for better flavor.
-
Preheat the oven to 200-220°C.
-
Line a baking sheet with tin foil and lightly coat it with oil.
-
Place the marinated pork tenderloin on a baking sheet and place in the preheated oven.
-
Bake for 30-40 minutes, then remove the pork tenderloin, brush a layer of honey on the surface of the pork tenderloin, and continue to bake for 20-30 minutes. During the roasting process, pay attention to the color of the pork tenderloin. When the surface of the pork tenderloin is attractively golden and the inside is cooked (you can use a thermometer to insert the thickest part of the pork tenderloin, and the temperature reaches 70-75°C, it is cooked), take it out and set aside.
-
Take out the roasted pork tenderloin, cool it slightly, cut it into thin slices, and serve it on a plate. You can sprinkle some black pepper or eat it with some sauce according to your personal preference.
Tips
-
The longer the pork tenderloin is marinated, the richer the flavor.
-
The baking time and temperature can be adjusted appropriately according to the temperament of your own oven. If you like to eat a more crispy crust, you can extend the baking time or increase the temperature appropriately, but be careful to prevent it from burning.
-
Brushing honey on the surface of the pork tenderloin can not only increase the sweetness, but also make the surface of the pork tenderloin bake with a beautiful color.
