2024-11-06

Ingredients

  • Fresh shrimp (300 - 400 g)

  • Coarse salt (1 - 1.5 kg)

  • Chinese prickly ash (10 - 15 grains)

  • Star anise (2 - 3 pieces)

  • Shrimp marinade (can be made by yourself: such as a mixture of salt and black pepper to make rubs, appropriate amount)

  • Tea powder bbq rubs(3g)

Instructions

  1. Wash the fresh shrimps, cut off the shrimp whiskers and shrimp legs, and dry them with kitchen paper. Put the shrimps in a bowl, add shrimp marinade, Tea powder bbq rubs, stir well, and marinate for 15-20 minutes.

  2. Pour the coarse salt into the pot, add pepper and star anise, stir slowly over low heat, and stir until the salt turns slightly yellow.

  3. Take an oven-safe container (such as a baking tray or casserole), first spread a layer of fried salt on the bottom, put the marinated shrimps on the salt, and then cover the shrimps completely with the remaining salt.

  4. Put the container in an oven preheated to 200-220°C and bake for 15-20 minutes until the shrimps turn red and cooked.

  5. Take the container out of the oven, use a small spoon or chopsticks to remove the shrimps from the salt, shake off the excess salt and serve.
