Travelling has seen many beautiful scenery: Lijiang, Dali, Gannan, Inacheng Yading, Xishuangbanna, the end of the world. But the most beautiful but the return journey, because a turn, is your direction! What is Yunnan Pu'er like? I'm not sure if you're going to be able to get a good look at this, but I'm sure you're going to be able to get a good look at this. Pu'er, I used to think of it only as a kind of tea, but I didn't realise that there was such a place as Pu'er, and Pu'er is just like the impression of tea: fragrant, serene, and with a long aftertaste.
There is no railway station in Pu'er, and when I arrived at the Pu'er bus station, I was really confused. This is a common problem every time you arrive in a new city, even if you have done a guide, it's useless!
Why? Because a traveller doesn't really have a specific goal compared to a tourist, he just wants to figure out the city over a period of time.
I casually got on a bus, I guessed it was towards the city direction, and hey, this time I was really right, in the car, I greedily took a full view of the scenery of this unfamiliar city, the streets are clean, neat, surrounded by green trees, flowers in full bloom, compared to the places I've been to before such as Kunming, Qujing, Wenshan, Yuxi, Dali and so on, the city of Pu'er feels more serene, peaceful, and there are some melancholic, aesthetic temperament. Still, the name is like the ancient tea of Pu'er. It is rich in aroma, mellow and long, and so warm that it is indescribable. That night, I stayed at an inn next to the old tea horse city.
Speaking of this inn, this inn is very good, the room is elegant and fresh, simple and stylish, there is a spacious courtyard outside, and the courtyard wall is full of flowers, and bright red kapok, reflecting the clean and vast white clouds and blue sky, simply intoxicated. First settled down here, ready to go the next day to the old town of Chama, walk the old tea horse road. On the third day go to Meizi Lake, and climb the tea mountain. On the fourth day, home.
The next morning, rushed to the old city of Chama, just getting off the bus, I found a large roadside compound, which is about the size of a school, warehouses, and shops, the doorway of a high-flying pagoda, above the ‘Dingyi Tea City’ four words.
It turns out that this is a tea market, so I walked in. The doorway of a teapot sculpture is so big, close look enough to have a room as big as the pot belly on the book of a couplet' all guests from all corners of the world, tea is like a living rain wind family take’. Awesome, the poem is well written! Into the tea city, on the right side of the horizontal and vertical rows are tea shops, because it is morning, many shops have not opened their door, there is a shop in the middle of the opening, but the door is only pulled open half, a middle-aged man stooping out of the shop, I look at the head of the door written Pu'er tea, large tree tea, Banzhang Tea, Old Tree Tea’. I was thinking about leaving, but the man called out to me: ‘Why don't you go in and have a seat’. This person is 50 outside, medium, hair slightly white, wearing a jacket, and looks very kind look. I heart happy, said casually: do not bother, he smiled and said: all right, come in and drink tea. When I entered the door, because I was too happy or did not pay attention, I hit my head on the beam of the roller shutter, embarrassed to death, haha. Pu'er tea people say: don't understand don't buy, to drink more, taste more, see more. Walked into the shop, a tea fragrance, the house of display cabinets, there are tea bricks, tea cakes, there are many large boxes of sealed tea, a brown tree carving tea table, filled with tea sets, behind a plaque, the book ‘tranquility’, awesome, the word is written well! Good elegant mood and flavor. The owner surnamed Li, warmly invited me to sit down and then began to give me tea, only to see him grab a handful of tea leaves, and then with a small balance under the scale: ‘You see, exactly 8 grams.’ I look at exactly 8 grams, so this is so delicate. Then he started to boil and brew the tea, talking to me about the brewing techniques of Pu'er tea, and a few minutes later a cup of fragrant tea was handed to me, and I took a sip of it, with the strong fragrance of Pu'er tea. Boss Li and I slowly sipped the tea while listening to him talk about the history and culture of Pu'er tea and tea-tasting techniques.
In the past, Pu'er tea was just a vague concept to me, seeing so many tea sellers outside, I only knew that it was a business, and I never thought that there was so much knowledge and such a deep culture, today I have come to a superficial understanding: Pu'er tea, no matter whether you buy it or not, you can drink it casually when you walk into any shop!
We also talked about traveling, I can't believe that Boss Li also likes traveling, he said that in his spare time, he likes to put on a backpack and go to many places by himself just like me, he is especially looking forward to the border areas and the faraway places.
He has traveled all over the Yunnan border, and he wants to go to the Russian, Chinese, Mongolian, and Chinese-North Korean borders in the northeast.
Before saying goodbye, I asked a very common and layman's words: I said the water of Pu'er tea is so deep, the price difference is so big, how do we buy tea? Boss Li smiled and told me, ‘Don't buy tea if you don't know how to buy it, you can drink it more, taste it more, and look at it more!
After 3 hours, I got up to say goodbye!
