Beef and Potato Tart Recipe
Ingredients:
2 large potatoes
1 lb (450g) Wagyu beef , ground or finely chopped
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1/4 cup beef broth (optional)
1/4 cup ketchup (optional)
1/4 cup mayonnaise (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the Potatoes:
Peel the potatoes and cut them into small cubes. Steam or boil the potatoes until they are soft and can be easily mashed. Once cooked, mash the potatoes until smooth.
Season the Beef:
In a bowl, mix the ground Wagyu beef with salt, pepper, and a little olive oil. You can also add a bit of beef broth to enhance the flavor.
Cook the Beef:
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Once cooked, set aside.
Prepare the Potato Base:
In a large bowl, mix the mashed potatoes with grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, and a pinch of salt and pepper. This will be the base of your tower.
Assemble the Tower:
On a baking sheet or plate, form a base with the potato mixture. Spread it out evenly to create a stable base. On top of the potato base, place a layer of the cooked Wagyu beef. You can also add a layer of ketchup or mayonnaise for extra flavor.
Finish and Serve:
Garnish the top with chopped cilantro. Serve immediately while the beef is still warm.
