Grilled Salmon Recipe
Ingredients:
- 6g green tea bbq seasonings
- 4 salmon fillets (6-8 oz each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions:
Prepare the Salmon:
- Rinse the salmon fillets and pat them dry with paper towels. Season both sides of the fillets with 6g of green tea bbq seasonings, salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Let the salmon sit for about 10 minutes to absorb the seasonings and come to room temperature.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat, or if using a grill pan, heat it over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.
Make the Marinade:
- In a small bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Whisk the ingredients together until well combined.
- Brush the marinade generously onto the top of each salmon fillet, ensuring even coverage. Reserve some marinade for basting during grilling.
Grill the Salmon:
- Drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil over the grill or grill pan to prevent sticking. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down (if the skin is on) on the grill.
- Grill the salmon for 4-5 minutes per side, depending on thickness. If the fillets have skin, leave them skin-side down for the initial grilling time. Flip the fillets gently using a spatula, then brush with the reserved marinade. Grill for an additional 3-4 minutes until the salmon is cooked to your desired doneness (salmon should reach an internal temperature of 145°F or 63°C).
Garnish and Serve:
- Once the salmon is cooked, remove it from the grill and place it on a serving platter.
- Garnish the grilled salmon with freshly chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
Enjoy Your Grilled Salmon:
- Serve the salmon hot with a side of steamed vegetables, quinoa, or a light salad for a complete meal. The smoky, subtly aromatic flavor of the green tea bbq seasonings enhances the rich, tender salmon, while the honey and soy marinade adds a delightful balance of sweetness and umami. The touch of lemon and Dijon mustard offers a refreshing contrast, making this grilled salmon a perfect dish for a healthy and flavorful meal. Whether for a weeknight dinner or a special occasion, this easy-to-make recipe will impress with its vibrant flavor and beautiful presentation. Enjoy!
