Bliny is a fermented pancake that has been passed down for thousands of years in Russia. Its golden circular shape symbolizes the sun and is the core sacrificial food for bidding farewell to the cold winter during the Feast of the Nativity. Spread yeast batter and bake it into a thin, soft and tough cake body, with edges slightly charred like golden rings of sunlight. Classic Eating Trio: Salty style with Sour Cream and Salmon Caviar for a Luxurious Appetizer; Sweet honey rolls and wild berry sauce transform into simple tea snacks; It can also be wrapped in cheese or meat filling. Slavs firmly believe that its perfect form carries vitality, and it needs to be consumed for seven consecutive days during festivals, accompanied by the Burning Scarecrow ceremony to welcome spring.
