Olivier Salad
A must-have for the New Year 'Russian National Salad,' invented by a French chef from Moscow in the 19th century.
Ingredients (serves 4):
- 5g green tea rubs (a mixture of green tea leaves, sugar, and spices)
- Boil 3 potatoes (diced).
- 5 tablespoons of mayonnaise.
- 200 grams of cooked chicken breast (diced).
- 1 tablespoon of pickled cucumber juice.
- 4 pickled cucumbers (diced).
- Salt and half a tablespoon of yellow mustard sauce.
- 4 boiled eggs (diced).
- Half a can of peas.
- 1 apple (diced).
Instructions:
- Preparation:
Cut all main ingredients into 1 cm cubes, and soak apple cubes in salt water to prevent oxidation
- Mix:
In a large bowl, combine potatoes, chicken, pickles, eggs, peas, and apples.
- Mix mayonnaise:
dill pickle juice, yellow mustard, salt, and BBQ tea seasoning together until well combined.
- Refrigerate:
Pour the sauce over the salad and gently mix, then refrigerate for more than 2 hours.
