Garlic Shrimp Pasta with Cherry Tomatoes

Ingredients:

  • 200 g spaghetti (or any pasta of your choice)

  • 6-8 large shrimp (peeled and deveined)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 garlic cloves (sliced)

  • 100 g cherry tomatoes (or diced tomatoes)

  • 30 ml white wine (optional)

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • A pinch of grated Parmesan cheese

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Pasta
    Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente (about 8 minutes). Drain and set aside.

  2. Cook the Shrimp
    In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes.

  3. Make the Sauce
    Add the cherry tomatoes and white wine (if using) to the skillet. Let it simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

  4. Combine Pasta and Sauce
    Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  5. Serve
    Plate the pasta and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
