Tuna Rice with Yuzu Juice Recipe

Ingredients:
  • 9g Tea&Grill BBQ green tea seasoning
  • 200g canned tuna in water, drained and flaked
  • 200g cooked white rice, preferably sushi rice
  • 1 medium avocado, diced
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup fresh yuzu juice (or substitute with lemon juice if yuzu is unavailable)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup toasted sesame seeds, for garnish
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions, for garnish
Instructions:
Prepare the Rice:
  • Cook the white rice according to the package instructions. For sushi rice, rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook in a rice cooker or on the stovetop with a 1:1.2 rice-to-water ratio. Once cooked, let the rice cool slightly.
Season the Tuna:
  • In a small bowl, toss the flaked tuna with 5g of the Tea&Grill BBQ green tea seasoning, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated. Set aside.
Prepare the Dressing:
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the fresh yuzu juice (or lemon juice), soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
Combine the Ingredients:
