Garlic Roasted Shrimp with Green Tea BBQ Seasonings
Ingredients:
- 6g green tea BBQ seasonings
- 2 pounds (21 to 24 count) large shrimp, shell on
- 6 tablespoons canola oil, divided
- 12 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped, divided
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced green onion
Instructions:
Prepare the Shrimp:
- Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Remove the shells if desired, but leave the tails on for presentation。
Season the Shrimp:
- In a large bowl, combine the shrimp with 3g of the green tea BBQ seasonings. Toss well to coat each shrimp evenly。
Preheat the Grill:
- Preheat your grill to high heat。
Cook the Shrimp:
- Heat 3 tablespoons of the canola oil on the grill grates over high heat in a large cast iron or sauté pan。
- Add half of the shrimp and half of the garlic to the pan. Cook until the shrimp are just cooked through, about 3 to 4 minutes。
- Stir in half of the green onions and transfer the shrimp to a large platter。
- Wipe out the pan with paper towels and repeat with the remaining ingredients。
Garnish and Serve:
- Sprinkle the remaining 3g of green tea BBQ seasonings over the cooked shrimp。
- Garnish with additional green onions if desired。
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side。
