Fried meatballs

Ingredients

  • Minced pork: 200 - 300 g

  • Eggs: 1 - 2

  • Bread crumbs: 100 - 150 g

  • Scallions: 1 - 2, chopped

  • Ginger: 1 - 2 slices, minced

  • Garlic: 2 - 3 cloves, minced

  • Salt: 3 - 4 g

  • Black pepper: 2 - 3 g

  • Soy sauce: 10 - 15 ml

  • Cooking wine: 10 - 15 ml

  • Sesame oil: 5 - 10 ml

  • Cooking oil (for frying): an appropriate amount

  • Red chili peppers: 1 - 2 (optional)

  • Lime: 1/2 - 1 (optional)

  • Tea seasoning: 3- 5g

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, mix the minced pork, egg, bread crumbs, chopped scallions, ginger, garlic, salt, black pepper, soy sauce, tea rubs, cooking wine, and sesame oil.

2. Stir the mixture with your hands and roll into even-sized meatballs.

3. Heat some cooking oil in a pan to 170 - 180°C.

4. Add the meatballs one by one to the oil and fry until golden brown, about 3 - 4 minutes per side, depending on the size of the meatballs.

5. After frying, use a paper towel to absorb any excess oil.

6. Serve the fried meatballs on a plate and add a few red peppers as garnish.

7. Place a slice of lime on the edge of the plate for added visual appeal and flavor.
