Cheese-Stuffed Tea Rubbed Baguette
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons black tea rubs (a mixture of black tea leaves, brown sugar, paprika, salt, and black pepper)
- 1 baguette, sliced lengthwise
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Prepare the Tea Rub:
- Combine the black tea rubs ingredients in a small bowl.
Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the Baguette:
- Spread the minced garlic evenly on the cut sides of the baguette. Sprinkle the tea rub mixture over the garlic layer.
Add the Cheese:
- Layer the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the tea rub.
Season and Bake:
- Sprinkle the chopped basil and parsley over the cheese. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Season with salt and pepper.
Bake the Baguette:
- Place the baguette on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve:
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes before slicing and serving.
