Spinach Lasagna Recipe

Ingredients:
-
9g Tea&Grill BBQ green tea seasoning
-
12 lasagna noodles (fresh or dried)
-
2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
-
1 cup ricotta cheese
-
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
-
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
1 cup marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)
-
1/4 cup olive oil
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
-
1/4 cup chopped green onions
-
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
-
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions:
Prepare the Spinach Filling:
-
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
-
Add the chopped spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
-
In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked spinach with the ricotta cheese. Stir in the chopped basil and green onions. Season with 5g of the Tea&Grill BBQ green tea seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
Cook the Lasagna Noodles:
-
If using dried lasagna noodles, cook them in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside. Fresh lasagna noodles can be used without cooking.
Assemble the Lasagna:
-
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
-
In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom. Place a layer of lasagna noodles over the sauce.
-
Spread half of the spinach and ricotta cheese mixture over the noodles. Sprinkle with half of the shredded mozzarella cheese.
-
Add another layer of lasagna noodles, followed by the remaining spinach mixture and the remaining mozzarella cheese.
-
Top with a final layer of lasagna noodles. Spread the remaining marinara sauce over the top layer of noodles. Sprinkle with the grated Parmesan cheese.
Bake the Lasagna:
-
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Finish and Serve:
-
Remove the lasagna from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes before slicing. This allows the layers to set and makes it easier to cut.
-
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
-
Serve warm, enjoying the delicious layers of spinach, cheese, and lasagna noodles with the unique flavor of green tea seasoning.
Enjoy your Spinach Lasagna!
