Avocado Sandwich Recipe
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon green tea rubs (a mixture of green tea leaves, sugar, and spices)
2 ripe avocados, peeled and sliced
4 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or sourdough)
1 small tomato, sliced
1 small cucumber, sliced
1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese (optional)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro or parsley, for garnish
Instructions:
Prepare the Green Tea Rubs:
Combine the green tea leaves, sugar, and spices in a small bowl to create the green tea rubs. This mixture will be used to season the avocado slices.
Season the Avocado Slices:
2. In a bowl, toss the sliced avocados with the green tea rubs, olive oil, and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Prepare the Bread:
3. Toast the bread slices to your desired level of crispiness.
Assemble the Sandwich:
4. Layer the sliced tomato and cucumber on one slice of toasted bread. Add the seasoned avocado slices on top of the vegetables.
If using, sprinkle crumbled feta cheese over the avocado layer. Top with another slice of toasted bread.
Finish and Serve:
6. Press the sandwich gently to secure the layers. Cut the sandwich in half, if desired.
