Ingredients:

  • 300g chicken breast (cut into strips)

  • 1 egg (beaten)

  • Bread crumbs – as needed

  • Cornstarch or flour – as needed

  • 1 tsp curry powder or five-spice powder (optional)

  • Salt – to taste

  • Black pepper – to taste

  • Black tea rubs – to taste

  • Optional: lemon juice (for tenderness)

  • Fresh veggies (lettuce, tomato, etc.)

  • Dipping sauce: ketchup, mustard, or your favorite!

Instructions:

  1. Marinate: Season chicken strips with salt, black tea rubs, pepper, and curry powder (if using). Marinate for 15 minutes. Add a splash of lemon juice for extra tenderness.

  2. Coating order:

    • Dredge chicken strips in cornstarch or flour

    • Dip into beaten egg

    • Coat evenly with breadcrumbs

  3. Cooking options:

    • Deep Frying: Heat oil to 170°C (340°F). Fry chicken tenders for 3–4 minutes until golden and crispy.

    • Baking: Preheat oven to 200°C (392°F). Bake for 15–18 minutes, flipping halfway through.

  4. Serve: Plate with fresh vegetables like lettuce and tomatoes. Enjoy with ketchup, mustard, or your favorite dip!
