Ingredients:

  • 500g chicken (wings or drumsticks)

  • 2 potatoes, chopped

  • 1 carrot (optional), chopped

  • Green pepper & onion, sliced

  • 2 tbsp Korean gochujang (red chili paste)

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 1 tbsp black tea rubs

  • Toasted sesame seeds, to garnish

  • Water, as needed

Instructions:

  1. Parboil the Chicken: Boil chicken pieces in cold water to remove impurities. Drain and set aside.

  2. Sauté the Chicken: Heat a little oil, stir-fry garlic until fragrant. Add chicken and cook until slightly golden.

  3. Add Sauce & Vegetables: Stir in gochujang, soy sauce, black tea rubs, sugar, and onion. Mix well.

  4. Simmer: Add potatoes, carrots, and enough water to cover. Simmer for 20 minutes.

  5. Final Touch: Add green pepper and cook 5 more minutes until sauce thickens. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve hot.
